About Bari Foods
Bari Italian Subs was founded in 1973 by Joseph and Grace Pedota, who emigrated from the town of Bitritto near Bari, Italy. With a mission to serve the local Italian community on Grand Avenue, Joseph and Grace built their reputation by offering top-notch service and quality products at affordable prices, a combination that made Bari a success from the start.
Today, the business is operated by their sons, Frank and Ralph, who have continued to grow Bari’s offerings while staying true to its roots. Our acclaimed Italian subs and homemade Barese sausages have remained customer favorites, while we’ve introduced new, family-recipe staples like fresh-made sauces, prepared dishes, homemade giardiniera, and fresh pestos.
